The Let's Grow Together  -

Grand Flower Sculpture competition

1. This is a competition to last the rest of the project.

2. The idea is to design/draw a picture that shows a sculpture/model made out of flowers.

3. You can see some examples of flower sculptures in the pics opposite.

4. The sculpture can be of anything -  a giant bumble bee - a huge ice cream sundae etc ...but it must be made up of flowers and plants.

5. We do not need to know how the sculpture is made - no need to worry about how it is built!

6. What we would love is for you to research and find out what coloured flowers would work for your sculpture.

7. In the example of the Bumble bee - maybe:

• Yellow and Black Tulips flowers for a Bees back and some moss and grass for the legs to show the hairs and the pollen.

• How to Enter:

1. The entries can be from individuals or from a group or whole class working on an idea together.

2. At the end of the project the winning school will receive a Bumper Grow Cardiff  prize TBA

3. Deadline for entries is the 15th of March - Winner announced on March 19th.
