Free Summer Workshops for Wellbeing, Nature & Community
This summer, we’re delighted to be running our Gather, Grow & Heal programme – a series of free workshops designed to bring people together through nature, creativity and community gardening.
Whether you’re looking to learn something new, spend more time outdoors, meet new people or simply enjoy a few hours surrounded by nature, we’d love you to join us. Our workshops are open to adults, children and families, with activities taking place at community gardens and venues across Cardiff throughout July and August.
What’s on?
Our summer programme includes a wide range of free activities, including:
- 🌱 Plant your own edible container
- 🐝 Bees & Butterflies family workshops
- 🦋 Nature and pollinator activities
- 🎨 Cyanotype printing using natural materials
- 🌿 Willow weaving
- 🐞 Children’s nature workshops
- 🥁 Wild Rhythm nature and craft sessions
- 🌼 Recycled mini garden making at Cardiff Nature Festival
Each workshop is designed to encourage wellbeing, creativity and connection with the natural world while helping people discover the many benefits of community gardening.
Why join us?
At Grow Cardiff, we believe that community gardens help people thrive. Spending time outdoors, learning new skills and connecting with others can improve wellbeing, reduce isolation and help people build confidence.
